The aim is to design and create a supply chain vertical to promote and develop the export of perishable and specific products from our great region directly from Busselton Airport to nearby Asia import hubs by:

  • Enhancing the utmost important cold-chain integrity of perishable products by reducing to a minimum the multimodal-transport and multiple handling of products, which are currently compromising the actual complex supply-chain through Perth airport; and

  • Incorporating into one airside facility, all aspects air-freight handling and consolidation in temperature-controlled cargo-hub, including border control, customs and AQIS inspection, CTO and ramp services to aircraft; and

  • Adding the professional services required to support the export trade from the South West (eCommerce platform, Bureau Veritas or SGS, G-World, Chem-Centre, etc); and

  • Deploying a B-757-200PCF to rotate from Busselton to nearby Asian import hubs (Singapore, KL, Jakarta, Hong-Kon g pending Airlines interest) - the rotation should include a return stop in Perth to deboard international freight, address crew change and aircraft maintenance before reloading export cargo at Busselton; and

  • Partnering with global airlines (Emirates, Qatar, Cathay, Singapore Airlines, Air China, British Airways, etc) for co-share agreement to reach-out further and broader destinations.
